Patara Beach

Patara Beach is a beach located near the ancient Lycian city of Patara in Turkey, on the coast of the Turkish Riviera. Patara Beach, located near the ancient city of Patara, is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in this region.

Patara beach is the longest and the most magnificent of the surrounding beaches. The depth of the 12 km long beach reaches 200-300 meters. The sand is thin. The sea is shallow. It is also suitable for windsurfing due to its almost non-stop wind. Patara beach is protected by the sea turtles (Caretta caretta) where they lay eggs.
