Continuous
We
use the Future Continuous for an action over a period of time.
- The band will be playing when the
Present enters.(=The band will start playing before the President enters.)
- This time next week, I will be taking my
math exam.
- When your plane arrives tonight, I will be
waiting for you.
- I will be visiting London next week.
Future Perfect Simple
Actions which are
completed some time between now and a point in the future.
- They will have lived here for five
years next May.
- I hope I will have won lots of prizes
before I ‘m twenty.
- We're late. The film will already have started by
the time we get to the cinema.
- In two years time we will have travelled all
around the world.
- I will have finished my homework by
dinner time.
Future Perfect Continuous
Actions in progress up
to a point in the future.
- I will have been working in the garden
tomorrow.
- At a seven o’clock, I will have been doing my
chemistry homework for three
- hours.
- When I am in this crowded city you will have
been enjoying yourself.
- By the end of this year we will have been
living here for six years.
- He will have been studying English tomorrow.
